The Golden State Warriors completed their final game of the NBA Summer League, and rookie Moses Moody is already looking to the future. Moody finished his last game with 14 points on 6 of 12 shooting and 2 of 7 from deep. It wasn't his best performance this summer, but it wasn't a bad outing either.
During the regular season, Moody's responsibility on the floor will change drastically. Playing alongside Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and the rest of a talented Warriors roster, he will be a role player. It isn't a bad thing. It just means fewer opportunities, and he will have to be efficient when his number is called. When asked about playing with the veterans in the regular season, Moody replied:
“Yeah, I'm extremely excited to be here. This is all I've ever wanted to do. Now that I'm here, that's just motivation to work harder and be prepared when the time comes,” the Warriors rookie told ClutcPoints.

His job will be to knock them down and do it at a high level because it's a lot of players on the team who can do it. Competing for minutes will be a challenge but one the rookie is looking forward to taking on.
Moody was pretty impressive throughout the summer games. Now it is time for the big show, the NBA, with some of the world's most prominent figures. Will the rookie be ready opening night, or will it take a while? Either way, the Warriors have a good one in Moody, and Warriors fans should be excited.
