The Golden State Warriors went full throttle in the first half of the Western Conference Finals. The Dallas Mavericks were constricted on defense, trailing 54-45 at the halftime break.
It was't just the usual Warriors suspects like Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins who got it done on the defensive end. Stephen Curry got in on the action as well.

The Warriors look locked in on both ends of the floor through the first 24 minutes of action.
All things considered, Dallas was lucky to just be down by nine after the defensive stand that Golden State put forth in the opening two quarters. The Mavs shot just 31.8% from the field and 24.1% from the beyond the arc, far below the Warriors' 56.4% from the field.
The Warriors also had a combined six steals and blocks in the opening half compared the the Mavs, who had just one steal and no blocks. They also out-assisted Dallas with 13 dimes compared to their six.
Given the offensive firepower on both sides, a nine-point game at the break is far from a death sentence. Luka Doncic is probably raring to go once the third quarter buzzer sounds.
