Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has a warning for everyone attending the ESPYs: be ready for some trash-talking.

While Curry doesn't plan to go full Draymond Green and speak his thoughts without filter, the veteran sharpshooter emphasized that the audience should still be nervous. In a rather ominous message, Curry did remind everyone that he has the microphone come Wednesday night.

“Maybe not as nervous as if Draymond was hosting, but still nervous,” Curry said when asked if the audience should feel nervous when he takes over as the ESPYs host, per The Kansas City Star. “Now I have the mic.”

If that doesn't get everyone worried, we don't know what else will. Stephen Curry rarely talks trash, but when he does, it usually doesn't end well for the recipient.

In another interview, this time with PEOPLE, the Warriors guard refused to go into detail what he plans to do at ESPYs. However, he did give some hint, like possibly including his wife Ayesha Curry in some skits.

“I don't want to give away too many surprises,” Steph shared. “We might try to include [Ayesha] in some of the skits or some of the on-stage stuff…we'll see.”

Steph's ESPYs hosting is expected to go viral, and there is no doubt many Warriors and NBA fans are already looking forward to the next trend he will start. After the “Night Night” celebration from the 2022 playoffs, we're certainly hoping to get more meme-worthy moments from the four-time champion and one-time Finals MVP.
