Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has never been known for his defense. In fact, he's even considered a defensive liability given his smaller frame compared to the other bigger or faster guards in the NBA.

The first one came with over eight minutes left in the third quarter. Devonte' Graham thought he found an easy way to the rim with Curry waiting for him, but that was not the case as the sharpshooter timed his jump perfectly for the clean rejection.

A minute and half later, Stephen Curry was back at it again. This time it was against Josh Hart who thought he had escaped the Warriors star with a brilliant side-step.

Of course Steph said no, leading the Warriors broadcast to declare him as a true elite rim protector. Did anyone say Steph Mutombo?

While Steph won't be winning the Defensive Player of the Year any time soon, it's certainly great to see him step up defensively on top of his usual offensive production. If the Warriors are to win another championship, any improvement in Steph's game would be a huge boost.

Surely, this won't be the last we see Steph block shots. Hopefully, though, we see him do it against LeBron James or Kevin Durant.
