The Golden State Warriors suffered their second consecutive defeat on Thursday as they fell to the Orlando Magic, 103-96.

Following the unlikely road defeat, former two-time MVP winner Stephen Curry was asked to give his thoughts about his team's current struggles. The 30-year-old seemed disinterested and made it abundantly clear that he would not be losing sleep on what many consider to be a slump for the defending champs.

Despite his confidence, it is hard to deny that the Warriors have not been playing their best basketball of late. Thursday night was a perfect example, as the Dubs struggled mightily from the floor throughout the contest.

For his part, Curry did drop a game-high 33 points against the Magic, but he needed a career-high 33 attempts to hit that mark. The 6-foot-3 point guard only made 12 of his attempts from the floor, bringing his clip to a miserable 36.3 percent on the evening. Curry is averaging 48.1 percent from the field this season, so he was definitely struggling on Thursday.

The Warriors are off on Friday, but will be back in action again on Saturday. They will be visiting the Philadelphia 76ers as they hope to close their four-game road trip with a victory.

With the defeat, the Warriors are now 43-19, and are just half a victory ahead of the Denver Nuggets for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Nuggets could have actually overtaken the Dubs on Thursday, but unfortunately for them, they failed to capitalize on the opportunity with a home defeat against the Utah Jazz.
