It is pretty insane how much the game has grown since 2014. Yes, these two were already remarkable players that year, but they were not as dominant as they are now.

It seems like the only backcourt pairing as of now who can also do this is the Portland Trail Blazers' tandem of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.

With the flurry of offensive numbers that have been put up in this young season so far, these type of output could possibly happen again.

It will be interesting to see if Curry tries to break Thompson's three-point record at some point during the season. It may not happen in the Warriors' next game, but it could certainly happen as Curry had the record before Thompson.

When these two eventually retire, though we're still a long way from that scenario, we may never see this type of scoring from any duo ever.
