Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr sees significant similarities between Stephen Curry and an old teammate of his.
Stephen Curry is playing some of the best basketball of his career this season. Aside from leading the Warriors to an impressive 20-4 record to date, he also ranks third in the league's top scorer's list.
As expected, coach Kerr couldn't be more delighted to see the Dubs talisman succeed once again.
According to Kerr, Curry's repetitive dominance resembles that of Michael Jordan's during his time with the Chicago Bulls.

“I think Steph, in a lot of ways, is like Michael Jordan,” Kerr reckoned via NBC Sports. “There are so many moments that they just all blend together. They don't even stand out because that's just what you expect. And maybe that's the true sign of greatness.”
“Every single night [fans] are going to see something special,” he continued. “And when you do something over and over and over again, it's harder for one particular night to stand out. It's become routine for him.”
Indeed, Kerr's comparison is bold given it is still a debate whether there's really a basketball player who deserves to be on the same breath as Michael Jordan. However, it must also be taken into consideration that the said analysis came from a former NBA player who spent five seasons of his career playing alongside MJ.
At this point, it is yet to be determined how Curry's legacy will be summed up. Until then, the two-time MVP still has a season to finish and another NBA championship to chase.
