Now that Stephen Curry has a return date in ink, the Golden State Warriors will roll out their plan for him for the remainder of the season. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr went on KNBR Radio and detailed what his minutes limitation and game plan look like from here on.

“I’m just kind of looking at it as if this were the end of training camp and he’s just starting the season,” Kerr said on KNBR. “So, it’s mainly about minutes now. We’ll play him in shorter bursts tomorrow, probably five- or six-minute bursts. I imagine we’ll keep him around 25 minutes.”
Kerr, however, plans to ramp up Curry's playing time over the next few weeks until the Warriors star has gotten back to his normal workload:

And then all of our young guys, who he hasn’t played with.”
The Warriors have 20 games left on the schedule, with 13 of them on national television. Golden State also has three back-to-backs remaining on its schedule, which could likely be off days for Curry, who has missed the last four months with a broken left hand.
Kerr and company will have to toe the line between getting Curry valuable minutes next to his new teammates and being cautious with his workload, as they'd like to avoid any further injury. Doing so is easier said than done, but this plan should help make things a little clearer as to what the Warriors expect from their superstar point guard, and vice versa.
