Not only were the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry on Wednesday night against the Miami Heat, but they also played without Draymond Green or Klay Thompson. And yet it didn't matter.
The remaining Warriors battled valiantly as they faced off against a Miami Heat roster missing Tyler Herro but otherwise featured their complete starting lineup. Jordan Poole piled on 30 points, his 11th straight game scoring at least 20 for the Warriors.
Alongside him offensively were Moses Moody, Andrew Wiggins, and Damion Lee who each poured in 22 apiece. Dependable Warriors center Kevon Looney scored just two points, but did the dirty work as he grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds and served as the defensive backstop without Draymond Green.
The upset victory got Stephen Curry fired up. The Warriors point guard, who continues to rehab from his foot injury after a recent collision with Boston Celtics' Marcus Smart, took to Twitter to express his excitement for his supporting cast stepping up with the established Big 3 suiting up.
“Team in blue had a night down in Miami. You love to see it!!! #DubNation,” said Stephen Curry on the Warriors win.

Golden State even pulled off their patented third quarter eruption as they broke the 50-50 halftime tie to score 19 straight points to open up the second half. Jordan Poole managed his best Stephen Curry impression as well as he closed that run with three straight triples, capped off by an absurd bank three after stopping on a dime.

Considering the Miami Heat are likely to be the first overall seed in the East and could very well be the team that emerges out of the pack, the win was massive for the Warriors as they snapped their 3-game losing streak.
At least for one night, it was no Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, no problem for the Golden State Warriors.
