After losing their first two games of the 2019-20 NBA regular season in devastating fashion, the Golden State Warriors have been on the receiving end of some brutal assessments from fans and pundits alike. Superstar Stephen Curry has heard them all, but he recently revealed he doesn’t let the negative comments get to his head.
“Everybody loves to label you when you're down, when you're losing. That's easy. It's easy to go on TV and say whatever you want. It's easy to throw darts at a team trying to figure it out…Say whatever you want to fill that 24-hour news cycle. It's cool with us,” the two-time league MVP said, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
The Warriors came in this season with a gutted roster after losing Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets in free agency and Klay Thompson due to a knee injury he sustained in last year’s Finals.
TNT analyst Charles Barkley was one of those who publicly criticized the Warriors’ chances this year, claiming they won’t even make it to the postseason.

Golden State finally racked up its first win of the season with a 134-123 win over the still winless New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
The Dubs got walloped by the new Western Conference powerhouse Los Angeles Clippers at their new arena Chase Center in their season opener, which was followed by a humiliating 28-point loss to the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Curry, meanwhile, has took on bulk of the offense for coach Steve Kerr and has averages of 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in the first three games.
