Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry says he and Kevin Durant are “still going to be brothers” despite Durant signing with the Brooklyn Nets in free agency.

The Warriors went to three straight Finals during the Durant era, winning two and losing one. Had KD not suffered the initial calf injury in the second round against the Houston Rockets, the Warriors probably would have won three straight titles.

“We did some special stuff. He's movin' on. We're still going to be brothers,” Curry said.

Everyone on the outside always wanted to tear up Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, when the reality is the two superstars had a great relationship behind the scenes. Durant accomplished everything he wanted to with the Warriors. There's nothing wrong with wanting to embark on a new challenge and that's what Durant is doing with the Nets.

Curry and the Dubs are embarking on their own new challenge in 2019-20. Klay Thompson will be out for majority of the season recovering from his ACL tear. A lot of people are counting the Warriors out since Durant is gone and Thompson is hurt.

Curry recently said he's looking forward to being the underdog for a change. Some believe Curry can win his third MVP award since his numbers are going to be off the charts sans KD and Klay.
