Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has this nonchalant attitude about him. He doesn't really take anything seriously or wear his emotions on his sleeve while on the basketball court.

That's why it shouldn't come as a surprise that Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry says Klay Thompson is late to everything, including shootarounds and practices.

However, it never affects Thompson's game, via The Players' Tribune:

“We always joke because Klay is kind of late to everything,” Curry said. “He's late to practice sometimes. He'll be late to shoot-around and whatnot. This particular day of practice before that game he missed the entire practice. He didn't show up, nobody could reach him.

“So the next day you're worried about where his mental space is, and the guy goes out and reads his newspaper before the game, like he always does, and goes out and scores 60 in three quarters the day after he misses a practice. So little stuff like that just makes you laugh because you have no idea what Klay was going to show up.

“I told coach, ‘Coach, you should've said, ‘Hey, skip the rest of practices and we'll see you at 7:30 every night.' “

Klay Thompson scored a whopping 52 points against the Chicago Bulls Monday night while hitting an NBA record 14 3-pointers. The All-Star guard entered the game on a shooting slump too. It just continues to show that Thompson, along with Stephen Curry, are the two greatest shooters in NBA history and both can go on record rampages at any moment.

It's unknown though if Klay Thompson was late for practice or missed their shootaround before the historic night.
