San Francisco, CA – The biggest matchup on Christmas day is the Golden State Warriors against the Phoenix Suns. Stephen Curry matched paired against Chris Paul is always a treat. Playing on this special holiday makes it even better.

After taking down the Memphis Grizzlies at home, Curry talked about what the Warriors needed to do on defense to beat the Phoenix Suns.

“You just got to take away the easy stuff. Our offense has to help our defense in terms of not turning the ball over. I think thats what hurt us a lot when we played in Phoenix the first game,” Warriors superstar Stephen Curry told ClutchPoints.

The last time the Warriors played the Suns, Curry had the worst game of his career. He finished the game with 12 points shooting 4-of-21 from the field. He struggled offensively, but that's not a concern the Warriors have when looking ahead. Curry just had a bad night.

“They're going to score, but if you turn the ball over, you can't get your defense set. CP (Chris Paul) is running in transition. He's got options everywhere. It's almost impossible to stop. So our offense has to help our defense, and we have to fly around with multiple efforts,” the Warriors star said.

It will be the third game between these two teams. The season series is even, and each win was on the home team's floor. The Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry are looking to end that trend. They are traveling to Phoenix short-handed because of the absence of Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, and Damion Lee, but they still believe they can get the job done and leave with a victory.
