The Golden State Warriors are coming off a Christmas Day beating from the Los Angeles Lakers, losing by a final score of 127-101. The Dubs looked terrible, getting run over by the Lakers on defense and only showing rare flashes of the trademark offense that is a beautiful sight when in full effect. Even after the loss, head coach Steve Kerr isn't too worried about his team, but he acknowledged a need for improvement:

The Warriors know they can flip the switch come playoff time. This isn't the first time the team has had to bounce back from a big loss. Last season, they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day, only to sweep the team in the Finals. Golden State has also suffered five 20-point losses this season alone.
Long story short, the Warriors aren't exactly in unfamiliar territory, but there is still a long way for the team to go to accomplish the first three-peat since the 2000-02 Los Angeles Lakers.
Golden State will count on a healthy and productive DeMarcus Cousins once he returns to the team, as well as a much sharper Klay Thompson, who has been in a slump lately. Draymond Green will also look to improve his game after claiming that he “f***** up the offense” on Christmas.
It's way too early to count the Warriors out after a few bad losses. If they can rebound and capture another championship, this loss will just be another minor footnote in history.
