Four games since coming back from a grade 2 left MCL strain that made the Golden State Warriors starting point guard miss the last 10 games of the regular season (and some even questioning if he was ever coming back at all and if their title defense is all but gone), Stephen Curry is still unsure when he will be back to 100 percent.
That is probably just the 30 year-old being humble seeing as he had a whopping 28 points and seven boards in just 27 minutes of action in his first game back while shooting a very Curry-esque 8-15 from the field and sinking half of the 10 3-pointers he attempted.
Then last night, he had almost the same output with 28 points and seven rebounds but had eight assists this time around and shot at an even higher clip at 10-16 (good for a 62 percent). But this was dwarfed by the fact that he played 37 minutes – five minutes more than his regular season average.
According to head coach Steve Kerr, this may be the sign that the sweet shooting guard is officially back.

The Warriors will definitely need all the firepower they can muster against the red hot Houston Rockets, although his numbers in three games this season against the top seeded Texas team has been below his usual averages, scoring just 23.3 points on 41 percent from the field and 35 percent from three, but did average five rebounds and five assists.
Still, those numbers would have a tremendous impact on a team who ranks fifth in team defensive efficiency during the regular season and second in the postseason.
