The Golden State Warriors have players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Kevon Looney who've all won NBA championships. This Dubs group has seen and experienced everything the playoffs have to offer.

Then there are the rookies and players who are making their playoff debut. They have no clue about what's going to happen next, but Steve Kerr has some advice for the newbies Tuesday morning.

“Turn off your phones, don't listen to the media,”  Kerr told ClutchPoints with a smile.

All eyes are on each game, and social media will have the best and worst players trending all day.

“There's a lot of attention, a lot of hype, a lot of focus, and you can't get wrapped up in the judgment and criticism that's coming because we're all under the spotlight,” Kerr added.

Outside pressure from media and fans has destroyed many young players' confidence in the playoffs. It can take over the minds of the NBA’s best and force them to a meltdown on the court in front of the entire basketball world.

Those obstacles are the reason it's important to the Warriors to have some veteran presence. They will help on and off the court. Keeping everyone mentally locked in is going to be key to making it deep into the playoffs.

“We have a job to do, and it's just us,” Steve Kerr shared. “We got to compete together, and collaborate and figure out how to how to win a game, how to win a series, and keep moving forward.”
