Steve Kerr doesn't see Nikola Jokic struggling in Game 2 as much as he did in Game 1 of the Golden State Warriors' playoff series with the Denver Nuggets, and he made sure to remind that to his team.
Jokic scored 25 points, albeit on 25 shot attempts, in the first game of the Round 1 series. He also attempted just two free throws and made one, which is an anomaly to say the least. With that said, Kerr does not think they'll be able to hold the Serbian big man like that come Game 2 since he is expected to be more aggressive.
“I'd bet my life that he will get more than two free throws. It has to come from his aggressiveness more than our reaching,” the Warriors coach said of the Nuggets superstar, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Nikola Jokic averaged 6.3 free throw attempts and 5.1 makes during the regular season, so Steve Kerr has every reason to doubt that he'll be limited to just two freebies once again.

The Joker is a force of nature, and his all-around ability makes him a nightmare matchup for anyone. While Draymond Green and co. did well in guarding him the first time out, the Nuggets are expected to come out with major adjustments to free up their superstar.
For what it's worth, Steve Kerr pointed out that they are ready for whatever the Nuggets throw at them. He also emphasized their plan not to give Jokic any “dare shots” from deep despite his 0-4 line from 3-point territory in Game 1.
The Nuggets are tough opponents when Jokic is firing on all cylinders, and the Warriors are well aware of that threat.
