Draymond Green is the perfect example of a player that wears his heart on his sleeve. The Golden State Warriors star is not shy about showing his emotions on the court and at times, he does tend to go overboard.
Dubs head coach Steve Kerr recently opened up about an unforgettable incident involving Green that went down many years ago. This was in 2014 in a game against New Orleans. Coach Kerr was furious about Green deciding to tie his shoe right in the middle of the game. Kerr called a timeout to reprimand Green, to which the Dubs All-Star did not respond too well:

And he goes out, and he dominates, and we win the game. And he tells me after the game, ‘Thanks, Coach, I needed to have a fire lit under me.’”
Apparently, at that point in time, coach Kerr wasn't sure if this incident would put a strain on his relationship with Green. After a bit of soul searching, however, the Warriors coach realized that it was something that made their bond stronger.
“That's not an easy thing to sort through,” Kerr admitted.
Draymond Green is not the easiest player to manage but it is clear that coach Kerr knows how to handle his enigmatic star.
