Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr still isn't quite sure if injured center DeMarcus Cousins will play in G League games this season.

Cousins continues to be sidelined after undergoing surgery earlier this year to repair a torn Achilles, which has yet to allow him to make his official debut with the Warriors.

However, despite speculation as to when Cousins could return, Kerr doesn't seem to have a specific time frame at this point as to when the Warriors' big offseason addition will play in competitive games.

And that thought process also applies to potential G League games, according to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle:

Steve Kerr said the Warriors aren’t close to deciding whether DeMarcus Cousins will play any G League games.

Cousins averaged 25.2 points and 12.9 rebounds per game for the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2017-18 season before going down with the season-ending injury back in late January.

Of course, the Warriors would love to add that type of production to the lineup for the stretch run of the regular season, as it would give them yet another dynamic playmaker who could impact the game.

Golden State currently sits at 21-10 on the season and has won six of its last seven games after losing back-to-back games to the Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons.

Next up for Kerr's group is a showdown with the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, with the Warriors earning a 124-123 victory at Vivint Smart Home Arena in their second game of the regular season.
