Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was out watching the US Open match between Roger Federer and John Millman. A reporter caught up with Kerr and the coach said that Federer reminds him of his very own star player.
Check out the video below posted by ESPN where Kerr explains why Federer reminds him of Stephen Curry:
"Who he reminds me of actually is Steph Curry … He's just cool. Just like Steph."

Federer is regarded as the one of the greatest — if not the greatest — tennis players of all time. Perhaps out of instinct, the reporter asked Kerr if he sees any similarities between Federer and Michael Jordan — considered the G.O.A.T. in basketball, which also happened to be Kerr's former teammate.

Though he acknowledged Jordan as the greatest, he doesn't see much similarities in their playstyles. For Kerr, Curry and Federer maintain and calm demeanor amidst all the pressure and seeming chaos that they live through every day.
And perhaps this is what makes Federer and Curry successful. They are regarded as the best in the respective fields With this label comes the immense pressure exerted by fans and critics. But amidst all this, they all remain calm, play the game the only way they know how. The goal is to win and play every game as if it's their last. But they are also aware that things won't always go their way.
Will the Warriors get more rings than Federer gets major slams?
