San Francisco, CA – Minutes before the start of the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat game, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson shared the floor for the first time this season. The crowd went wild when Thompson stepped on the court, and they did the same when he left.
All eyes were on Thompson, even Green's, who was warming up at the time. When Thompson left the court, Green couldn't help but smile.
“I was very excited to see him walking off and embracing that love holding his hands up. It's great. I've seen what he's been through the last two and a half years, and it's not pretty, and so for those fans that lineup out there like that and showed their support for him. I was a little salty that once he walked off, the warm-up was dead after that. I had nobody watching me warm-up,” Warriors veteran Draymond Green told ClutchPoints.

Fans inside the Chase Center loved every minute of seeing their big three on the court together again. Everyone watching at that moment was imagining Thompson reunited with Curry and Green in an actual game.

“So just to share the court with him for three minutes was incredible for me, and I'm looking forward to him having his day. Klay Day, I'm looking forward to that,” Green said.
The Warriors go on the road to face the Dallas Mavericks. It's the first of a two-game road trip. Thompson will travel with the team but won't play.
