San Francisco, Ca – Things are starting to come together for the Golden State Warriors. Monday, Draymond Green announced his return date, and Tuesday before their match with the Los Angeles Clippers, the team announced that James Wiseman will play two G-League games this week.
The Warriors have been in trouble the last few weeks, and size has been a major problem. Many believed once Wiseman was cleared to play, he would immediately be in the Warriors rotation. Steve Kerr shared with the media in his pregame interview that playing him right away was never the plan.
“Well, he’s been scrimmaging with the team here the last few weeks and the next logical step is live-action in the G League,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “I don’t know of any other options other than to put him into one of our games and we feel like it makes a lot more sense for him to get some action and play a lot and get a lot of rhythm and conditioning before he plays for us.”

The week is getting better and better by the day for the Dubs. Next, you can look for some good news about Andre Iguodala. The savvy veteran wasn't expected to play a ton of games this season, but he was signed for a potential playoff run, and with the postseason right around the corner, it's perfect timing for him to return.
Tuesday, the Warriors ended their five-game losing streak. Now that they're back in the winner's circle, maybe they can get back to playing Warriors basketball before the postseason. It will be the Warriors' first appearance in two seasons.
