The Golden State Warriors could trade their first-round pick on Thursday, according to Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated.

The biggest decision the Warriors must make this offseason is whether or not they will extend guard Jordan Poole’s and forward Andrew Wiggins’ contracts.
Poole will be a restricted free agent next summer and had a breakout year this past season, culminating in a fourth-place finish in Most Improved Player of the Year voting.

The Dubs could also be looking toward the future with this move. While the Warriors do have Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green the trio can not play forever.
Recent picks Poole, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody seem to be the future in Golden State, but Poole was the only player to receive substantial playing time this past season.
