Golden State Warrior All-Star guard D'Angelo Russell just made one of his worst on-court decisions against the Oklahoma City Thunder
With the Warriors trailing 79-47 midway through the third quarter, Russell got himself ejected for arguing a call. The 23-year-old guard thought he was fouled while driving to the basket, but the referee didn't whistle for what could have been a three-point play by D'Lo.
Surprisingly, Russell was livid for the no-call and got in the official's face, earning him his first technical. As if that is not enough warning, the young playmaker insisted on his argument and didn't let go until the ref gave him his second tech and tossed him out of the game.
Odd decision by D’Angelo Russell at a time when struggling Warriors need all the reps together they can get. First T, understandable, make a point at frustrating time. Second one less defensible. pic.twitter.com/QfQjOjpt83

Russell was obviously frustrated after the Warriors' disastrous start to the game. Golden State was down 33 points at halftime, which is their worst halftime deficit in the Steve Kerr era.

The former Brooklyn Nets standout finished the game with six points, one rebound and two assists in roughly 23 minutes of action.
To make matters worse for the Warriors, Stephen Curry was also called for a controversial technical foul. Steph was running with the ball when he inadvertently hit Terrance Ferguson at the crutch area.
Steph really just got a technical for this. SMH 🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/jmnJyxBjB9

Nothing is going well with the Warriors, and Kerr undoubtedly needs to find a solution as quick as possible.
