Golden State Warriors All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson has released a powerful short film that gives fans an inside look at his ACL rehab.
Thompson tore his left ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. He was set to miss the entire 2019-20 campaign but will be back on the court for the Warriors whenever the 2020-21 season starts:

Without Thompson in the lineup this season, the Warriors had the worst record in the NBA. Of course, much of that had to do with Stephen Curry playing in only five games due to a broken left hand.

The Warriors signed Klay to a five-year max contract extension last summer worth $190 million. The sharpshooter averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Dubs last season while shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 40.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.
In the 2019 playoffs, Thompson put up 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists. The Warriors lost to the Raptors in the Finals in six games. Game 6 was the final game ever at Oracle Arena and it was a dark night that evening since Thompson tore his ACL, too.
The Warriors should be playoff contenders next season since Thompson will be back and the Dubs will have Curry, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins next to him. Klay has career averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists with the Warriors in 615 regular-season games.
Golden State will have a top pick in the 2020 draft. The team, though, will ultimately go as far as Curry and Thompson can take them in 2020-21.
