It has been a disastrous 2017-18 NBA season for the Sacramento Kings, to say the least. Their performance thus far had been epitomized by a nightmare start to their showdown with the equivocally-bad Chicago Bulls.
However, the Kings never packed it in and managed to chip into their deficit little by little throughout the game. They eventually found themselves within striking distance before ultimately putting the nail in the coffin of a 21-point comeback with this dunk by center Willie Cauley-Stein, per Kings' official Twitter.

Needless to say, Sacramento managed to come a long way from their embarrassing first quarter in which they were outscored 28-9. The Kings could not hit water out of a boat while the Bulls were seemingly clicking on all cylinders. However, a lackluster to start the game was just what they needed to wake themselves up.
Article Continues BelowContrary to most nights, the Kings were able to rely on an extremely versatile offensive attack to help lead the resurgence. The highest scorer on the team was Bogdan Bogdanovic with a mere 15 points. Fortunately, the Kings had five other players reach double figures to spur the comeback.
It has been a frustrating season for veterans and young players alike. Many that joined felt that the Kings would be in some type of contention for a potential playoff berth. However, with the trade deadline quickly approaching, Sacramento's roster is now playing for a certain degree of respect.
Comebacks like these show that head coach Dave Joerger has not lost the locker room despite sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
