Time and time again, Madison Square Garden has brought out some of the best performances from NBA players. The likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James, just to name a few, have all had unforgettable games inside the building, as the appeal of the world’s most popular arena, and the mecca of basketball, is truly indescribable.

The 20-year-old rookie out of UCLA had one of his better outings so far as a pro, finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 39 minutes of playing time for the Lakers. Magic Johnson himself was watching the game live while seated in the front row, and at times was seen applauding the efforts of Lonzo Ball.

Ball may have had a good game, but it was still not enough to give the Lakers a victory. They ultimately lost in overtime, 113-109. However, the momentum Ball gained on the night could help him play more consistently in their upcoming games, as he will be needed even more to be at his best as the Lakers look to improve on their 10-16 record for the year.
