According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball has a torn meniscus in his left knee and is expected to miss a few months. However, he is expected to be ready for the start of the 2018-19 season.

Ball's left knee is the same knee that forced him to miss half of January, most of Feburary and then the final half-month of the regular season. So far, it appears as though Ball's left knee is going to be a concern for the Lakers and their front office. MRI's throughout the season showed an knee sprain as well as a knee contusion.

It's unclear how this will affect the Lakers free agency pitch to guys like Oklahoma City Thunder star Paul George and Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James, as well as their interest in trading for San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.
