The L.A. Clippers have a lot on their plate in free agency this summer, with the main focus being re-signing their two key free agents in Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. While Paul qualifies for the super max contract upwards of $200 million this summer, Griffin does not, which means the Clippers won't be able to offer him more than the max contract of about $175 million. Griffin has a player option for the 2017-18 season worth $21.4 million which he is fully expected to opt out of.

Griffin recently joined the Pardon My Take Podcast, where he discussed his favorite NBA cities, all of whom could very well pursue him in free agency starting July 1st. The favorites he named are Boston, New York, Phoenix, and Toronto. Interestingly enough, the Celtics have been rumored to pursue Griffin in free agency, so his interest in them will surely fuel some more rumors.

At one point, Griffin even credited rapper Drake as one of the reason he likes Toronto.

“He's like the ambassador for them, and also like seven other NBA teams,” he said.

Griffin did not name Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago because they were a bit obvious, and even left Oklahoma City since he lived there as a child.

Griffin participated in 61 of the Clippers' 82 games, averaging 21.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and one steal per game. The most disappointing part is that he's had his postseason derailed two consecutive times due to leg/foot injuries.
