Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin is getting into the production business. Griffin is not retiring, but has begun his next step into the Hollywood scene.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Griffin is teaming up with NFL lineman Ryan Kalil to partner in a new venture named Mortal Media.Under this brand, they are developing a reboot to the 1991 Disney movie The Rocketeer.
The film will apparently feature a female lead, and reboot will be named The Rocketeers. This implies that there will be several people using jetpacks in the movie.
For the time being, the production is very early in development stages, and doesn’t have a release date, nor is there a director assigned to the movie.
