Kawhi Leonard's first year with the Los Angeles Clippers was full of drama. But Leonard has no regrets about his decision to sign with LA in the summer of 2019.
Leonard was a guest on âJimmy Kimmel Live!â on Wednesday night, and he talked about a host of different topics:

At one point, Kimmel asked Leonard if he regretted choosing the Clippers over the Lakers, who went on to win the NBA title.
While Kawhi praised the Lakers, he also said he is very content with the choice he made:
âNo, not at all,â Leonard said, via RealGM. âI'm happy with my decision. They did a great job last year. They did their thing.â
Of course, Kimmel asked the âFun Guyâ plenty of light-hearted questions as well, and even got Leonard to debunk the âApple Timeâ story.

Los Angeles is coming off an epic collapse in the Western Conference Semifinals. Subsequent reporting has suggested there was all kinds of calamity in the locker room, including frustrations about Leonard and Paul George enjoying way more freedoms than teammates.
But it's a new season, and the Clippers have done what they can to ensure Leonard will not opt out at the end of the year.
Los Angeles acquired Luke Kennard and signed veteran Serge Ibaka in free agency. The biggest move came when the Clippers extended Paul George, ensuring at least some semblance of stability considering LA will be deprived of its draft picks.
In any case, Leonard does not seem to lament watching the Lakers win the title. He is still hoping to win one with the Clippers.
