The battle for Kawhi Leonard is on between the LA Clippers and the Toronto Raptors. Recently, LA took a shot at Toronto via a billboard.

This is the most recent digital billboard created by fans to lure Leonard in. The ones below, as posted by ESPN via Andrew Greif of the LA Times, were put up a few days ago. The Clippers organization made it clear that they were not the ones behind the billboards. Since if they were the ones responsible, then the NBA would have to sanction them for violating the league's tampering rules.

Are they getting better or worse? Do you think that these billboards will be enough to convince Leonard to go back to his hometown? Earlier in the week, Leonard declined his $21.3 million player option to become an unrestricted free agent. Though the sentiment around the league is that the two-time NBA Finals MVP will re-sign with the Raptors with hopes of snagging another title.
The Clippers, meanwhile, have been the favorites by some as the 27-year-old's next destination. Apart from being Leonard's hometown, the superstar-less squad led by Doc Rivers made waves last season with an impressive 48-34 record. They made it to the postseason and were eliminated in six games by the Golden State Warriors in the first round.
NBA free agency will officially start on June 30, 6 p.m. ET. It's only then that players and teams can start talking to discuss terms but no free agents can actually sign any contracts (with a few exceptions) until noon ET on July 6.
