The L.A. Clippers put together a masterful 22-0 run against the Los Angeles Lakers in Friday night's game between the two teams, which tied the longest uninterrupted run in the NBA this season.

It was quite the performance for the Clippers in taking control of the game down the stretch, as the Lakers simply could not slow down their rival's momentum.

That allowed Doc Rivers' team to put together one of the best runs that the league has seen all season, according to ClutchPoints' Clippers beat reporter Tomer Azarly.

Clippers guard Lou Williams delivered in a big way by notching a game-high 36 points off the bench. He went 11 of 18 from the field and converted on all 11 free-throw attempts while adding seven rebounds in 31 minutes of action.

Danilo Gallinari offered nice contributions as well by notching a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The win helped the Clippers moved to 21-14 overall on the season in picking up their second-straight win, with Williams and company picking up a 127-118 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

With LeBron James out of the lineup for the Lakers, this appeared to be a great opportunity for the Clippers to take advantage, and they did just that.

Next up will be a home matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. After that, the Clippers will prepare to host the Philadelphia 76ers next Tuesday.
