The LA Clippers are hopeful to get Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Norman Powell back before the end of the season. Head coach Tyronn Lue says there's no timetable on any of his guys, but each one is progressing well in their respective rehabs.

On Tuesday night, Yahoo! Sports' Chris Haynes reported on the three players, providing updates on the Clippers‘ stars.

Transcribed via the TNT broadcast:

“Paul George has gradually progressed to the court, where he's doing 4-on-4 work with the coaching staff in a controlled contact.

“Norman Powell, sources tell me, is itching to get back out there and is expected to return at some point before the end of the regular season.

“Lastly, Kawhi Leonard is progressing nicely, but sources say a decision has not been made on whether he will return this season or not.”

The report from Chris Haynes, which is usually spot-on, appears to have taken a different course. That, of course, is thanks to Norman Powell himself. Powell took to Twitter to respond to the report that's he's itching to get back out there and expected to return.

“What sources? Is saying how I feel? It’s either from me or fake news. Chill with the sources talk. Smh”

Prior to Monday's practice before the team flew to Denver, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said that Powell would be, ‘doing some shooting and stuff, but not anything as far as contact with us today.'

Norman Powell was traded to the Clippers on February 4th, but the guard/forward was only able to play three games before going down with the fractured medial sesamoid bone in his left foot. He suffered the injury in the Clippers' February 10th matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.

After driving to the basket for a layup attempt, Powell landed, but had his foot landed on by Mavs' forward Maxi Kleber, which is believe to be when the injury occurred. Powell went back to the Clippers locker room briefly, but ultimately returned and played 9 minutes and 44 seconds after the injury.

In three appearances with the Clippers, Powell averaged 21 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists on 47.6 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.
