The L.A. Clippers have received interest for forward Tobias Harris, but they have shown no inclination of wanting to trade him, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

The team would reportedly be happy to re-sign him in the offseason after the 26-year-old is putting up career numbers with 20.7 points and 7.9 rebounds — all while shooting the best percentages of his eight-year career — 49.3 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from deep.

Harris is tying it all up with a crisp 88 percent from the foul line, showing he's a well-rounded scorer with plenty of potential to grow.

The Clippers are hoping to make a run at Kawhi Leonard this summer, along with other big-name free agents like Kevin Durant.

Signing Leonard or Durant would likely mean that Harris would move into the power forward position to allow the max player to play at his preferred position, while signing both of them could present a different issue for the Clippers if they were to re-sign Harris.

L.A. would need further cap space to haul in two max players comfortably, and doing so could prove difficult, given the swarm of NBA teams vying for a big-time free agent.

Harris is hoping to prove to the Clippers that he is worth the investment after finding a home in Los Angeles following his trade from Detroit, which saw longtime franchise cog Blake Griffin shipped to The Motor City.
