Richard Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins have some bad, bad news for the Los Angeles Clippers: Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic.
Not that LA didn't already know it considering what happened in Games 1 and 2 of the Clippers-Mavs playoffs series, but Jefferson and Perkins firmly believe there is no hope for Ty Lue's squad now.
On ESPN's The Jump, the panel discussed what the Clippers can do to stop Luka and get back on their playoff series in Game 3. However, the two former NBA players don't see any way for the team to absolutely the Slovenian youngster.
“No one can slow down Luka. The Clippers can't send a double-team because of how well he passes the ball,” Jefferson opined.
Perkins even went as far as to say that a sweep is inevitable now that the series shifts to Dallas.

While it is still too early to say given that there is no lead that is safe in the NBA, it's hard to blame Jefferson and Perkins for their latest remarks. In the first two games of the series, despite it being close, the Clippers were unable to find an answer to the scoring problem posed by Luka Doncic.
The Mavs star recorded a 31/10/11 triple-double in the opening matchup before banking 39 points on top of seven rebounds and seven assists in the following game. Even though Kawhi Leonard bagged 41 in Game 2, it still wasn't enough to contain Luka and Dallas.
Game 3 will be critical for both teams, and the result could very well dictate who will move on to the West semifinals.
