It was a thrilling contest at the Staples Center on Friday, as the Los Angeles Clippers escaped with a hard-fought 122-119 victory against the Houston Rockets. There was an air of intensity throughout the contest, and as it turns out, it even spilled over following the final buzzer.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that Russell Westbrook's brother, Raynard, actually had to be escorted out of the arena after a post-game confrontation with Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell.
There was some distance between the two until Raynard stepped on the court to continue the banter, and arena security cut off his path and directed him off the court.
While continuing the verbal sparring, Raynard was moved along the seats behind the basket closest to the Clippers’ bench before being asked to exit the arena. Raynard complied and walked out with the assistance of security personnel with no further incident.
Russell Westbrook is definitely one of the most intense guys in the NBA right now, and as it turns out, this level of passions runs in his family. There is no word if his brother will be fined for his involvement in the incident, but we will be sure to pass along any new information as they come.

“I ride for my team and my city,” Harrell told Yahoo Sports about the incident. “All I care about is who’s on my team. And we won. That’s all that matters.”
This victory now makes it four straight for the Clippers, as the team now rise to an 11-5 record.
