Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant is expected to receive a lot of offers once he becomes a free agent this summer.

Durant could become a free agent if he opts out of the final year of his contract with the Warriors. Although he has the choice to exercise his player option for next season, it is widely believed that the two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player will test free agency and likely leave the Warriors in the offseason.

The New York Knicks have been tagged as the favorites to land Durant this summer. However, Marc Stein of The New York Times revealed that the Durant-to-Knicks scenario is not yet set in stone, with the Los Angeles Clippers now entering the race.

Within the last month, very smart and plugged-in people I have consulted say that the Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as an equally dangerous threat to the Knicks to sign Durant away from Golden State. And I believe it.

Stein, however, stated that Durant's camp has been giving different signals throughout the year. It's also worth noting that KD's manager Rich Kleiman recently said that Durant is “100 percent undecided” on which team he will play next.

Aside from the Knicks and the Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets have been rumored to make Durant their top priority in free agency.
