When Blake Griffin took an elbow to the head during the L.A. Clippers' loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, things did not look good.
Griffin laid on the floor for some time, and one of his hands was twitching as play went on before a timeout was called so doctors could attend to him.
Players from both teams went over to Griffin's side to make sure he was OK. Moments later, Griffin left the game and was diagnosed with a concussion.
One of the players who went to Griffin's side was Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. After the game, he addressed the media, per ClutchPoints reporter Tomer Azarly.
“It was unfortunate to see Blake go out,” Curry said. “I hope he's alright.”
Curry later said he was right next to Griffin as he laid on the ground, and said Griffin was responsive. He will not play in Monday's game.

Injuries are an unfortunate reality of the game of basketball, and all sports for that matter. Players frequently catch elbows or other types of blows to the head, and some of those players get concussions as well.
But Griffin's incident looked particularly concerning because it appeared that he had passed out from the blow, and his twitching hand was just plain scary.
But it's good news that Griffin was responsive to Curry — and likely others — and that it's only a concussion for him. The Clippers will now be without another player due to injury, but it's good that Griffin's injury wasn't worse.
