As a tribute to the passing of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, NBA fans around the globe are creating unique memorials to remember his outstanding legacy.

Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash outside Los Angeles on Sunday morning. He was 41 years of age. Sadly, all nine passengers on the flight, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, perished in the tragic accident.

Members of the NBA family and its fans are in a state of mourning after learning of Bryant's tragic passing. One group of creative fans in the Philippines created a beautiful mural of Kobe embracing his daughter on an outdoor court in Manila.

Another artistic fan created an impressive mural rubbing of Bryant using the corner of a backboard. That's right… the corner of a backboard.

Shortly after news of Bryant's passing was made public, hundreds of mourning Lakers fans began showing up at Staples Center Plaza. As a sign of respect, the fans created a makeshift memorial to honor the man who meant so much to Lakers Nation and the city of Los Angeles, leaving flowers, jerseys and photos in remembrance.

A five-time champion and 18-time All-Star, Kobe Bryant will be remembered as one of the greatest players the NBA has ever known. He impacted the league and the sports world in immeasurable ways and became one of the most beloved figures around the world. He was taken from us far too soon, but the memories, as well his “Mamba Mentality” motto, will live on.
