Amid all the frenzy and furor of the NBA trade deadline, Los Angeles Lakers veteran Carmelo Anthony and Miami Heat forward PJ Tucker remain focused on the most important thing in the world right now: Sneakers.

While all are busy on the frenetic wheeling-and-dealing around the league, Melo and Tucker are preoccupied with adding more kicks to their collection. On Thursday, Tucker posted on Instagram a photo of his rare Carmelo Anthony Air Jordan 4 PE. Of course, he couldn't help but troll the Lakers star a little bit.

Melo made a rather hilarious response on Twitter, accusing the Heat enforcer of breaking into his home and stealing the pair from his closet.

It's no secret that Tucker is widely considered as the Sneaker King of the NBA, as he reportedly has around 456354465365748 pairs of shoes. But Melo is no slouch either, although he's supposedly more into getting so-called “holy grail” pairs, like the rare Air Jordan 4 PE specifically designed for him (maybe he needs one in Lakers colors too?)

Melo has been with the Jordan Brand ever since he entered the NBA as a 19-year-old prospect in 2003.

Melo and Tucker played one season together with the Houston Rockets, and it's clear they developed a strong bond.

While Tucker is enjoying a fine season with the surging Miami Heat, Melo is in deep waters with the struggling Lakers. Fair to say, Tucker is getting a—wait for it—kick out of it.
