Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is entering his third NBA season, and expectations for the youngster are already through the roof.

Not only is Kuzma expected to take on more responsibility during the 2018-19 campaign, but the Lakers are viewed as title contenders, meaning that every good thing (and bad thing) Kuzma does will be magnified.

Unfortunately for Kuzma, he suffered a stress reaction in his foot while training with Team USA this summer, so he is out indefinitely.

But that isn't stopping Kuzma from setting goals for himself, as he said at Lakers media day on Friday that he wants to be an All-Star, via ClutchPoints.

Kuzma appeared in 70 contests with 68 starts this past season, registering 18.7 points, 5.5 boards and 2.5 assists across 33.1 minutes a night while making 45.6 percent of his field goal attempts, 30.3 percent of his long-distance tries and 75.2 percent of his foul shots.

This is after the 24-year-old played in 77 games while making 37 starts during his rookie campaign, averaging 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 45.0 percent from the floor, 36.6 percent from 3-point range and 70.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Obviously, Kuzma is going to need to work on his efficiency and his perimeter shot to reach All-Star status, but there is no question the kid has talent. Once he gets healthy, he will have a major opportunity on his hands.

Kuzma, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Utah, was originally selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the first round (27th pick overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft, but was immediately traded to Los Angeles.
