New decade, new records for LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar was recently named Player of the Week for Week 11 of the 2019-20 NBA season, and in doing so, James became just the seventh player in league history to receive the weekly honor in three different decades.

LeBron James, who turned 35 in December, continues to pile on the accolades to pad his already Hall of Fame-worthy resume. This recent accomplishment just further attests to his longevity and ability to compete at a high level even at this point of his career.

James and the Lakers are enjoying the best record in the Western Conference with a 29-7 mark. While Player of the Week is a great award to get, James has his sights set on a different piece of hardware this season: the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

The LA Clippers will certainly provide a major challenge come playoff time as long as they're healthy, and there are a handful of other teams in the Western Conference vying for supremacy. In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks lead a strong list of contenders.

But as we have seen in the past, particularly in 2016, there is no task difficult enough for the four-time MVP to overcome.
