Amid all the comments criticizing Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton and rumors surrounding his job security, Lakers majority owner Jeanie Buss and Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson once again expressed their support for their young coach through Twitter.

Buss tweeted a picture of her having dinner with Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and coach Walton:

It is the second time this year that Buss tweeted with the hashtag “In Luke We Trust.”

Yesterday, after the Lakers beat the Dallas Mavericks in overtime, Johnson tweeted congratulations to the team and praised Walton:

ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk said Walton feels how both Buss and Johnson have his back:

“Jeanie has always been great. There is no doubt that they support me. I haven't seen the tweet, but again, I don't have Twitter. But I know they support [me and the coaching staff].”

The front office members are not the only ones in the organization who have shown support for Walton, as rookie Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram have commented on the issue and supported Coach Walton.

Said Kuzma about LaVar saying Walton lost the team:

“I don't think that's the case. When you lose games, at the end of the day Luke isn't the one going out and shooting 2-for-15, turning the ball over, having turnovers or missing free throws. That's us. Can't blame the coaching staff for everything. It's mutual, of course… Luke is my guy. I love playing for him. I'm sure most of us love playing for him too. … We stand by Luke. I know the front office does.”

Brandon Ingram also said it is important for everyone to ignore Ball's comments:

“The guys don't talk about it. It is important for us to try to keep it positive in our locker room so we can continue to go on this streak like we have.

Despite recent rumors about former Grizzlies coach David Fizdale being targeted as a replacement for Walton, the organization and players appear committed to their young coach.
