Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James and his agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, “don't give a sh*t” what people on the outside are saying about The King's groin injury and when he should return to action.
James suffered a Grade 2 strain of the left groin on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors. Since LeBron went down, the Lakers have been struggling, as the team is just 4-7.
Some believe LeBron James should rush back from the ailment so the Lakers don't free fall in the Western Conference standings, but Rich Paul tells Sam Amick of The Athletic that is not going to happen:

“Now day to day doesn’t mean tomorrow or the next day (he’ll be back). Day to day means that after each day of his workload, we’ll evaluate it, and when he feels his best he’ll play. However long it takes, it’ll take. We’re not on nobody else’s timeline.”
Before he got hurt, LeBron James was putting up monster numbers as he usually does. The four-time MVP is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from beyond the arc.
The Lakers are 24-21 on the season. They sit in the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings. The Utah Jazz have the same record as LA and are playing really good basketball right now. There's a chance the Lakers can fall out of the playoff picture soon, but that's not going to force Rich Paul and James to change LeBron's recovery timeline.
