It was not that long ago when the Los Angeles Lakers felt that they had to intervene with their young players’ social media behavior. Recently, the team called the attention of Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma after apparently hitting the threshold of patience the Lakers were giving them in terms of their online antics.

They’re back at it again, though, particularly Julius Randle and yes, Kyle Kuzma.

When Lakers shooting guard recently posted an image of himself attempting a layup on Instagram, Randle and Kuzma flocked into the photo’s comment space and commenced their virtual roasting of the former Villanova Wildcats swingman (h\t Harrison Faigen of SB Nation).

In any case, this was far from being foul.  It’s a light-hearted razzing incomparable to devoting time and money just to produce a diss track just like what Ball did recently.

But will the Lakers top brass call Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma (again)?

We can’t say for sure, though, the next time Randle meets with Los Angeles’ higher-ups, it’s probably to discuss his impending free agency. Randle is set to become a restricted free agent once his current deal expires in the summer. As for Kuzma, it does seem he’s not going to be stopped with his mocking of his teammates online, but he should also prepare for a Josh Hart comeback.
