LeBron James was obviously pumped to get back to the postseason after missing out last year in his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. In fact, he was so excited that he already had kicks that he would played in during the playoffs.

The Lakers superstar — who expressed his dismay over the fact that the playoffs would have started today had it not been for the coronavirus — showed off the sneakers on Instagram.

NBA basketball has been out of action for more than a month now. As mentioned, April 18 was the supposed start of 2020 NBA playoffs. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the season is still on hold.

The NBA is still in the process of making a decision on how to go about continuing the season or if the season would continue at all. James and the Lakers were looking forward to this year's playoffs as they were undoubtedly one of the favorites to win the 2020 NBA title.

LeBron James was on a mission to capture his fourth ring and the 17th banner for the Lakers. However, given the situation, it remains uncertain if they would even have the opportunity to do so.

The league is reportedly considering a myriad of options, including playing the remaining games under one roof. Obviously, having fans around is out of the question and players will have to settle with playing in a closed location.

There is optimism around the league the season will continue. Obviously, players would want to resume the season and crown a champion, given all the hard work they have already put on during the regular season.
