The highlights for the Orlando Magic have been few and far in between coming into tonight's showdown against the star-studded Oklahoma City Thunder. Fortunately, it did not take long for point guard Elfrid Payton to get the fans over at the Amway Center out of their seats.
With the Magic still searching for their first bucket of the evening, Payton gave it to them in spectacular fashion with a filthy crossover that sent Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook to the hardwood, courtesy of NBA Twitter.

It is not often any player gets the better of Westbrook, let alone a low-profile player like Payton. However, Payton was not done with the reigning NBA MVP either after he later caught him reaching and made him pay with a behind-the-back shimmy to the basket.
The fourth-year man out of Louisiana-Lafayette finished the night with 19 points on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting and a season-high four steals. Meanwhile, Westbrook managed to recover quite nicely from the series of assaults on his ankles with 37 points, 11 rebounds, and a season-high five steals of his own.
However, the Magic were ultimately able to pull out their first victory to finally put an end to their miserable nine-game losing streak. Orlando has little time to enjoy the victory with the defending champion Golden State Warriors coming to town on Friday.
