Former NBA All-Star Chris Bosh says the biggest “what if” of his career is LeBron James staying with the Miami Heat.

James signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the summer of 2014 after leading the Heat to four straight NBA Finals from 2011-2014. The Heat went 2-2 in the Finals during the “Big 3” era of LeBron, Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Miami defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012 and San Antonio Spurs in 2013, and lost to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 and Spurs in 2014.

Bosh believes had James stayed with the Heat, Miami could have won at least one more title in South Beach.

The Heat went 37-45 in 2014-15 and missed the playoffs. That's the season when Bosh started to develop blood clots and had to start using blood thinners. The NBA doesn't allow its player to play while they are on blood thinners.

Bosh played in 53 games in 2015-16, but the blood clots came back. The 11-time All-Star hasn't played in the league since then. The Heat retired Bosh's No. 1 jersey this season.

James took the Cavs to four straight Finals in his second stint in Cleveland. The Cavs won the 2016 championship over the Golden State Warriors in seven games. Bosh is obviously happy LeBron went back home and brought a title to Cleveland, but selfishly, CB would have liked to see James stay with the Heat.
