Dion Waiters of the Miami Heat is ready for his comeback.
Waiters posted a photo of himself via Twitter. And from the looks of it, the 26-year-old guard is in the best shape of his career.

Last season, Waiters only played 30 games due to a prickly left ankle. Come January, he underwent surgery to repair the said ankle and subsequently missed the rest of the season. Now, a new season is about to get underway. Waiters is aiming to return by training camp.

Last month, Heat president Pat Riley hopes for Waiters to be cleared come training camp, though he admitted that they're not rushing. As reported by Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel, Riley said:
“Well, it was six to nine months,” Riley revealed of the initial recovery timetable presented to the team, with Waiters opting for an outside medical staff to perform the surgery. “That's what the doctor said. We hope that he's ready for training camp. But we're not going to push that.”
Waiters was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He spent two and half seasons there before being sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder via trade. After two years with the Thunder, he then signed with the Heat and was inserted straight into the starting line up. In his career so far, Waiters is averaging 13.3 points per game, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
